VIST Financial believes that being part of the community means taking the community's needs to heart and support them whenever possible. Whether that means monetary support, volunteering our time, or even advertising an event in our financial centers, we work to support those organizations and causes that are working to make our communities better for everyone.

Below are some frequently asked questions and our guidelines on VIST Financial Corp.'s community relations efforts.

What types of causes does VIST Financial support?

With the hope that every dollar and hour we donate will help make our communities stronger, we have chosen to focus our efforts toward supporting organizations and initiatives that:

• Develop financial literacy in children and adults (with special emphasis on those programs targeting low to moderate income families and individuals)
• improve the economic future for our community
• heighten the cultural opportunities in our communities
  

What types of requests won't be considered?

• Organizations or causes that benefit an individual
• Conference, seminar, or competition attendance
• Travel funds or expenses
• Political organizations or events
• Organizations or events that discriminate on the basis of race, gender, age, religion, income, or physical ability
• Organizations or events outside of the counties we serve

I'm a customer of VIST Financial. How can an organization I'm involved in receive support?

For a number of reasons, we are not able to approve every request we receive. Each request is reviewed individually and given full consideration. Priority will be given to organizations where a customer or employee serves in a leadership role; however it does not guarantee approval. 

If VIST Financial supports a similar organization (For example, Lions Clubs or Rotary Clubs) in another municipality or county, does that guarantee support of my organization?

Each request and organization is reviewed independently. Among the factors we use to consider are:

• Does the organizations/event meet the criteria of our policy?
• Is an employee or customer serving in a leadership role in the organization?
• Will this event have a positive impact on the general public?
• Is another financial services company a title sponsor of the event?
  

How can I get support for my group/organization?

All donation requests must be made in writing, and must include the name of the organization, the requested donation (whether monetary, merchandise, volunteer hours, etc.), and a contact name and telephone number. Your request can be dropped off at any VIST Financial Center or mailed to:
